Liverpool Advanced Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Course
Cardiology Training Academy presents the Advanced Percutaneous Coronary Intervention Simulation Course! A day of hands-on, practical simulation training. Co-hosted with Dr John D. Hung, who has extensive experience in complex PCI. Places are extremely limited as we aim to preserve the experience of each delegate.
Who is it for?
Our course is aimed at:
· Interventional fellows and final year trainees (ST7)
· Consultants with interest in developing advanced PCI skills
You will be allocated a space on the course depending on availability and on a first come first serve basis.

On the Day
A comprehensive day of small group, hands-on simulation training including:
- Bifurcation PCI strategies including DK crush and Culotte.
- Calcium modification including shockwave, orbital atherectomy and rotablation.
- Associated skills including intracoronary imaging, planning complex procedures with CTCA and wire escalation strategies.
